    New Smyrna Beach, FL (May 27th, 2023) This course is designed to bridge the gap between a conceal carry course and a level 1 pistol course. Students will learn the basic principles of carrying a concealed weapon while gaining confidence in a variety of carry techniques and handgun platforms. This 4-hour course is designed for all subscribers of the second amendment seeking to obtain their concealed weapons permit and enhance their knowledge of firearms discipline and threat focus. Criteria: This course is more than your average conceal carry course that focuses on 3.5 hours of classroom time and culminates in firing 7 rounds from a .22 revolver. This course is spent on the range conducting practical application in order to establish a foundation of becoming comfortable with multiple calibers, multiple types of handguns, and learning how to safely and efficiently employ them. In addition to that, students will learn critical skills involved in gear selection, maintenance, and preparing yourself for an armed defense situation.   • Edgewater, FL (May 20th, 2023) This course is an entry level course that includes an overview of common injuries associated with high-risk lifestyles and occupations. Intro to tactical emergency combat care, survival first-aid, and practical application of medical concepts under varying levels of stress and resources. Disclaimer: This course exposes students to visually traumatic images and artificial blood, portions of this training include physically demanding and emotionally challenging scenarios. No previous training or experience is required. Criteria: This course is hosted in a local law enforcement classroom in Volusia County, FL. Students are given a 4-hour block of instruction utilizing instructor demonstrations, and practical application using equipment and techniques approved by the Journal of Special Operations Medicine, and The Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care. All equipment is provided for the course. This course will also give the student current Fend Industries TACMED certificate and CPR credentials. Students will learn to defend their space during an array of common crisis events such as theft, burglary, home invasion or anyone attempting to unlawfully enter their property with intent of bodily harm. Criteria: This course is hosted at a local range in New Smyrna Beach, FL. This 4 hour course is taught by industry leaders in global security operations and risk management. This course is designed to brief the end user on how to properly secure their home, and loved ones, in the event of a security, or emergency incident. Instructors use only the most up to date methods and techniques currently used by subject-matter experts in their fields, and taught to home owners in a safe and efficient way, specific to their individual security needs. This course will cover an array of techniques and consist of formal classroom and hip pocket briefings and culminate in simulated and live fire drills. Pre-Requisites: Students must have taken Armed Defense Fundamentals or an equivalent course, or demonstrate a keen understanding of weapons handling, safety, and conditions.
