All devices are professionally built by Custom Night Vision in house in their clean room environment, purged and collimated on a calibrated Hoffman Engineering ANV-126A. The RNVG-A, also known as ARNVG, (Articulating Ruggedized Night Vision Goggle) is an extremely tough, full featured night vision binocular. The housing is billet machined from aircraft grade aluminum and designed to handle challenging real-world environments. During drop testing the housings far exceeded military requirements of MIL-STD-810H drop testing, surviving falls onto bare concrete from heights beyond what lenses and image intensifiers can handle. The design includes push button switches for power and an Infrared Illuminator. The IR illuminator button is guarded by a fence with distinctive contours to prevent inadvertently activating the IR illuminator. Indicators in the viewing area alert the user if the IR illuminator is on, or if the unit senses a low battery condition. The unit is powered by either an onboard 123 battery or auxiliary power from a battery pack using a 4 pin LEMO style connector. RNVG-A optics feature a full range of adjustments. The mil-spec objectives allow the user to focus between 9.8 inches and infinity, while the mil-spec eyepieces offer a diopter adjustment range of -6 to +2. The articulating design allows the user to quickly adjust for an Interpupillary Distance from 47mm to over 80mm. Each optical pod can be rotated up out of the users view as desired, freeing one or both eyes for natural sight as conditions demand. When the goggle is helmet mounted and in the stowed position, the optical pods can be folded back flat against the helmet to minimize neck strain and better protect the goggle, and the user, from impacting overhead objects. The optical pods automatically turn off when articulated up. This feature prevents illumination on your helmet when one side is articulated up and ensures that the image intensifiers are ‘off’ in the stowed position with the optical pods folded back against the helmet. The force required to swing the optical pods is user adjustable using a coin. The goggle is available in Flat Black and Flat Dark Earth. The components of the binocular are media blasted to give a non-reflective matte finish, then black anodized for durability. For the FDE option, Cerakote, a proven firearms finish, is applied over the anodizing to give a tough, attractive finish. -

The DTNVS is one of the lightest weight, highest performing Binocular Night Vision Devices (BNVD) currently available on the market. The DTNVS is a full-featured goggle with adjustable objective and diopter focus, using standard PVS-14 style optical assemblies, meaning they are compatible with common accessories for the PVS-14, as well as an onboard IR LED with a built-in ON/OFF indicator that alerts the wearer to whether the onboard IR is switched on inside the tube, as well as a low battery indicator light. The DTNVS housing is designed and manufactured by ACTinBlack, based in Luxembourg, a leading manufacturer and supplier of night vision equipment to European military and law enforcement customers. Based on extensive end-user feedback from U.S. and international military, SOF, and law enforcement end-users, the DTNVS utilizes MX-10160 format image intensifiers with Automatic Brightness Control (ABC) only. While some users do prefer manual gain systems and expansive feature lists, the overwhelming feedback from end-users has been that it is unnecessary in a binocular system, and simply ends up being an added complexity that could potentially cause problems if tinkered with or mis-adjusted while on mission. While there are benefits to AA powered binocular systems, power consumption and battery efficiency are not one of them, hence why most AA powered BNVDs include a provision for an external power supply, often requiring expensive interface cables and battery packs, and while conversion parts will be available for the DTNVS to support external power supplies, the basic configuration of the DTNVS does not include an external power option, reducing weight, complexity, and another potential ingress point for moisture and foreign debris. The DTNVS Standard does not come with Interpupillary Distance (IPD) Stops, as most users do not find them to be necessary. However, some users do find the IPD Stops to be a useful addition to ensure that the monocular pods return to the same position when rotated back down. Criteria: This course is more than your average conceal carry course that focuses on 3.5 hours of classroom time and culminates in firing 7 rounds from a .22 revolver. This course is spent on the range conducting practical application in order to establish a foundation of becoming comfortable with multiple calibers, multiple types of handguns, and learning how to safely and efficiently employ them. Edgewater, FL (May 20th, 2023) This course is an entry level course that includes an overview of common injuries associated with high-risk lifestyles and occupations. Intro to tactical emergency combat care, survival first-aid, and practical application of medical concepts under varying levels of stress and resources. Disclaimer: This course exposes students to visually traumatic images and artificial blood, portions of this training include physically demanding and emotionally challenging scenarios. No previous training or experience is required. Criteria: This course is hosted in a local law enforcement classroom in Volusia County, FL. Students are given a 4-hour block of instruction utilizing instructor demonstrations, and practical application using equipment and techniques approved by the Journal of Special Operations Medicine, and The Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care. All equipment is provided for the course. This course will also give the student current Fend Industries TACMED certificate and CPR credentials.
