New Smyrna Beach, FL (May 27th, 2023) This course is designed to bridge the gap between a conceal carry course and a level 1 pistol course. Students will learn the basic principles of carrying a concealed weapon while gaining confidence in a variety of carry techniques and handgun platforms. This 4-hour course is designed for all subscribers of the second amendment seeking to obtain their concealed weapons permit and enhance their knowledge of firearms discipline and threat focus. Criteria: This course is more than your average conceal carry course that focuses on 3.5 hours of classroom time and culminates in firing 7 rounds from a .22 revolver. This course is spent on the range conducting practical application in order to establish a foundation of becoming comfortable with multiple calibers, multiple types of handguns, and learning how to safely and efficiently employ them. In addition to that, students will learn critical skills involved in gear selection, maintenance, and preparing yourself for an armed defense situation.
