Fend Industries SIMrange simulator technology from Laser Shot improves effective judgmental training using high definition interactive simulation scenarios. These scenarios are created from anticipated threats or previous real-world situations that resulted in officer or soldier fatalities. Students can interact with threatening opponents on the screen in office environments to assess threats and react to active shooter situations. Leaders can evaluate student performance with comprehensive AAR features within JTS and coach based on current engagement policies. Training scenarios can be generated from an existing library or customized to address emerging threats and specific training requirements. Training will challenge individuals’ decision-making skills and reaction times to potential threats they may encounter. The simulators live-fire hit detection technology provides the most realistic opportunity to train, like drawing from the holstered position or taking cover as needed dependent on the threat presented in the scenario. Instructors can operate Judgmental Training Software away from the operator station to assist trainees at the firing line as an alternative. The remote tablet will network back to console via the JTS router. JTS Editor includes a user-friendly built-in scenario editor, enabling instructors with basic computer skills to effortlessly create or modify complex scenarios. Easy to use tools such as advanced zoning options and simple drag-and-drop controls support importing scenarios into the design canvas. This creates a simple platform for generating new simulations and branches that are automatically generated and displayed in a top-down, real-time 3D, hierarchal view. While training, the instructor can manually direct the scenario to create multiple outcomes based on the student’s interaction, reinforcing communication and deeper understanding of the use-of-force continuum. -

Fend Industries "Night Fighter" Our Redacted FEND logo represented in Desert Night Camo. A historical pattern in our nations night fighting history. The DNC's design was made from cross hatches and blotches, which was supposed to break up the wearer's image when looked at through various NVDs During the Gulf War, a Scout Sniper section of a Marine Corps battalion conducted a night test comparing the visibility of the desert night camouflage clothing with six-color desert uniforms and winter overwhites. The night camouflage clothing proved to be more visible than both the day desert uniforms and winter overwhites when viewed though an AN/PVS 5 night vision device. The pattern was seen as effective on NVDs that were made in the 1970s therefore discontinued. -

A tribute design to our team and a replica mural of one of our first Afghan BJJ clubs (which would later fall to the Taliban). During a time when the gym was all we had to get by during those long deployments, we turned to grappling to bond and burn off the stress. During the many years spent in that theater, we had a habit of commandeering any yoga room we could find at US facilities and turning them into a hasty dojo (against the permission of the brass). Like a band of BJJ pirates with barely enough color on our belts to form a dirty white, we spent our evenings scrapping, with little hope at getting better without the occasional purple or brown belt rotating on to the team, we got in sloppy reps and left our sweat, blood, and our brand on the walls of various compounds. Proceeds of our contact series help us give back to the Veteran community by donating to causes providing combat veterans coping with military connected disabilities a way to cope through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu..... -
